I read Sen. Ethan Strimling’s forum column in the June 2 Sun Journal. He hates the federal tax cut, which is not surprising coming from a member of L.A.F.I.A. (Liberal Axis of Fiscal Irresponsibility in Augusta).

The Democrat liberals spent every single tax dollar that was generated in the boom ’90s and would look at any kind of tax rebate as something foreign, evil and to be avoided at all costs.

Any tax money that is returned to me by the Feds will go to pay the increased property taxes and other taxes in Maine.

The state of Maine deserves better government than it has. If the voter keeps sending liberal big spenders to Augusta, we will continue down the slippery slope invented by L.A.F.I.A.
