LEWISTON – Theodore Andrew “Ted” Garrow Jr., 52, a resident of Church Street in Hartford, died suddenly Monday, Aug. 4, at Central Maine Medical Center following a brief illness.

He was born on July 5, 1951, in Worcester, Mass., the son of Theodore A. Sr. and Alice J. Pomerleau Garrow and attended the schools of Amherst, Mass. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

“Ted” was self-employed as a salvage metal dealer. He was a life member of the VFW, Post 5986 of East Sumner, a life member of the AmVets, Lane-Dube Post 33 of Jay and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was an avid gun collector.

He is survived by a son, Theodore A. Garrow III of Oxford, Mass.; a daughter, Kristel J. Garrow also of Oxford, Mass.; three sisters, Pamela Guerrin and her husband Dennis of Worcester, Mass., Marilyn Garrow of Gloversville, NY, and Loretta Hatch and her husband Keith of Jay.
