JAY – Police are investigating a break-in at the Jay High School this weekend.
Coaches’ lockers in the locker room were vandalized, an undisclosed amount of money was stolen from a cash register in the cafeteria, and locks were broken at the concession stand near the football field, Detective Russell Adams said.
Theft from the building was reported first on Monday. Then later that day, criminal mischief was reported when the locks were discovered broken, Adams said.
He and officer Eric Goodrow are conducting the investigation.
