LISBON – An informational meeting on presidential candidate Howard Dean will be held Monday, Dec. 15.

The community meeting is one of several being held across Maine by Dean supporters. A video will be shown offering some of Dean’s speeches, followed by discussion directed by the audience, said John Murphy, regional organizer for the Maine campaign.

In addition to being a former governor of Vermont, Dean is a medical doctor in favor of health care for all and is opposed to the war in Iraq.

The meeting will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Farwell Building mill complex across from Graziano’s Restaurant on Main Street in Lisbon. For more information, call the Dean Campaign in Maine at 773-8484.
