TURNER – Frozen in Time, an open juried exhibit by photographers from throughout New England, will be on display from Jan. 20 to Feb. 18 at the Turner Center for the Arts in the Leavitt Institute Building.

Photographers should hand-deliver their work to the center on Jan. 12, 13 and 14. There is a limit of three entries per artist with no size limit and there is a jury fee of $20 per artist or $10 for members. Jurors for the the photography only exhibit are Mark Silber and Elkie Morris.

An artist’s reception will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, while the regular gallery hours for the exhibit are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. Photographers interested in exhibiting their work should phone Jennifer Wadsworth or Robert Gibson at 225-3115.

Meanwhile, the 2005 Membership Exhibit is on display in the main galleries, and a small works exhibit is on the first floor. There are more than 150 pieces to view by more than 40 artists. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, except for New Year’s Eve, when the gallery will be closed.
