AUBURN – Anna B. Parent, 85, formerly of 65 Warren Ave., Lewiston, died Thursday, May 17, at Clover Manor Nursing home.

Born in Lewiston, on May 26, 1921, a daughter of Teodor and Christina Sorensen Bendtsen, she attended Lewiston schools and Bates College, and graduated from Central Maine General Hospital School of Nursing.

She was married to Robert A. Parent, who died Sept. 23, 2005.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and will be remembered for her kindness, compassion and dedication to her husband of nearly 60 years.

She is survived by a daughter, Muffett Dulac and husband, Wilfrid, of Auburn; two sons, Robert A. Parent Jr. and his wife, Mabel Gong, of Lafayette, Colo., and William F. Parent and his wife, Susan, of Simsbury, Conn., and seven grandchildren, David, John and Elizabeth Dulac, and Trevor, Emma, Katie and Kimberly Parent.
