JAY – Mr. and Mrs. Richard Leclerc of Jay are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Krystal Ann Leclerc, to Thomas Bavin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Bavin of Lakeville, Mass.

Miss Leclerc is a 1999 graduate of Jay High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She received a master’s degree in education from Lesley University in 2006. She is currently employed as a grade six language arts teacher at Jonas Clarke Middle School in Lexington, Mass.

Mr. Bavin is a 1996 graduate of Apponequet Regional High School in Lakeville, Mass., and graduated in 2000 from Stonehill College with a bachelor’s degree in managerial economics. He is employed at Standish Mellon as a bond trader in Boston. He was awarded a CFA charter in 2006.

An Aug. 2 wedding is planned at the Falmouth Country Club in Falmouth.
