RUMFORD – Vickie M. York McNeil, 51, of Prospect Avenue, Rumford, died Sunday, June 29, at the Rumford Hospital.

She was born in Rumford, on June 12, 1957, the daughter of Elmer and Theresa (Cunningham) York, and graduated from Rumford High School, Class of 1976.

She was a member of Rumford Falls Aerie 1248, FOE, was a communicant of St. Athanasius-St. John Church. She enjoyed knitting, loved spending time with her family and her son’s dog “Coke-Amo.”

Survivors include her mother, Theresa York of Rumford; sons, Shawn York and his wife, Andrea, of Rumford and Kris York of Rumford; sister, Debbie Gallant of Rumford; brothers, Mark York and his wife, Teresa, of Wichita Falls, Texas, Ricky York of Rumford and John York and his wife, Gina, of Oak Harbor, Wash.; grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Jacob York of Rumford and Dylan Dixon of Mexico; and many nieces and nephews.
