Coach: Mark Stevens (14th year)

Last year’s record: 14-0, Class C state champions

Returning letter winners: Senior — Forrest Cornell (119), Josh Pomerleau (125), Mike McNamara (135), Matt Nicholson (140); Junior — Zach Splude (171).

Key losses — Marcus Bubar (145), Art Stambach (189), Joe Doughty (215).

Promising newcomers: Senior — Andy Arias; Junior — Garrett Starr; Freshmen —Nicholas McNamara (103), Zach Stevens (112), Nate Gamach (275), Tyler Bard, Alex Bennett, David Moore.

Outlook: The Greyhounds are primed for a run at their fourth consecutive state title with four returning individual champions and a strong batch of freshmen, but they will have to work hard. Cornell is going for an unprecedented (for Lisbon) fourth title, McNamara his third, and Pomerleau and Nicholson their second. An improved Splude could move up on the podium after finishing third last year. They have just one junior and no sophomores, so senior leadership will be key.

Coach’s comment: “The quicker the seniors’ experience rubs off on the freshmen, the better off we’re going to be.” — Coach Mark Stevens
