Dinner-dance

LISBON — A fundraiser dinner with dancing to follow will be held from 5:30 to 11 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14, at the VFW Hall, 52 Lisbon St.

Cost will be $10. The menu, chop suey or lasagna, rolls, green beans and cake, will be served from 5:30 to 7. Dancing will follow from 7 to 11 with a live DJ, Aaron C. Cost will be $5 for the dance only. There will be door prizes and 50/50.

Proceeds will go to the Greater Androscoggin Animal Shelter. The event is being held in connection with an upcoming Sock Hop.
