BURLINGTON, N.C. — Marcel Bosse, 72, of 807 South Ridge Road, Burlington, N.C., died Nov. 3, at Hospice home after a lengthy illness with Parkinson’s disease.

Marcel was born July 16, 1939, in Lewiston and graduated from Lewiston High School. He retired from New England Telephone Co. after 25 years working in Direct Distance Dialing and belonged to the New England Telephone Pioneers. Marcel also enjoyed doing research in genealogy, bowling and coin collecting.

Survivors include his sister, Jeannine (Walter) Stevens of Burlington; a nephew, Scott (Christine) Stevens of Austin, Texas; a niece, Michele Nelson of Pittsboro, N.C.; and six great-nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, Armand J. Bosse and Imelda Boutin Bosse.
