LIVERMORE FALLS — Treat Memorial Library will hold a hands-on e-reader workshop at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14. Attendees should bring their device (Nook, Kindle, Pandigital, etc.) and Elaine will show how to download books and try to answer any other questions.

New this month, the library is offering a Saturday Story Time open to everyone. It will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, in the auditorium downstairs.

The library will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 17, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

In inclement weather, call the library before leaving home to make sure it is open. Storm closings are posted on TV stations 6, 8 and 13.

The knit/crochet group will meet at 5:30 p.m. the fourth Tuesday, Jan. 24. Everyone welcome, including those who want to learn to knit or crochet. A supply of needles, hooks and yarn is available.
