LEWISTON — The Lewiston Public Library will hold the annual Gingerbread Day event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, in Callahan Hall. This year will have a Harry Potter twist. Callahan Hall will have shops scattered throughout the space, transformed into the world of Hogwarts.

There will be many activities in the world of Harry Potter, including drinking Butterbeer, doing magical crafts, visiting shops for wizards, winning raffle prizes, receiving glitter tattoos and exploring the spooky Shrieking Shack! There will be gingerbread wizard decorating as well.

The event is free for kids and their families.

Costumes are encouraged for all ages. Library staff will be dressed up.
