WORCESTER, Massachusetts — The Assumption College Department of Economics has announced that Ashley Richardson of Durham has become a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon, the International Honor Society for those who study economics.
Richardson, Class of 2018, was inducted into the honor society this spring.
To qualify as a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon, the student must be an economics major and carry at least a 3.0 grade point average in both the major and in his or her overall studies.

ELMIRA, New York — Atupele Machika of Hebron was recognized at the opening reception for the Senior Art Majors Show on May 17.
Machika, a student at Elmira College, was given honorable mention for an installation of paintings and sculpture based on memories of her home country Malawi.

ELMIRA, New York — Kallah Turner of Turner was one of two students recently named recipients of this year’s Hal Roach, Litt.D. ’88 Theatre Prize at Elmira College’s Commencement exercises.
