The Jay Public Works Department prepares a sledding hill and surrounding area Friday for the Spruce Mountain Sled-In and Winter Family Festival. It will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at French Falls Park on French Falls Lane off Route 4 in Jay. People are asked to bring sleds and snowshoes. Donna M. Perry/Sun Journal
