Cindy Lessard Tuttle

LEWISTON – Cindy Lessard Tuttle, 52, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021 after a three-year battle with cancer. Her loving husband Chip was by her side until the end.

Cindy was born in Lewiston on June 16, 1968 to Paul Lessard and Monique Bolduc Lessard. She attended elementary school at Holy Cross. She graduated from Lewiston High School in 1986. She then went on to earn her advance secretarial degree from The Katherine Gibbs School in Boston, graduating in 1987. She went to work as a legal secretary for Attorney John Whalen. She then attended The University of Southern Maine to get her paralegal degree. She put that degree to work at Bob Laskoff & Associates Law Firm.

Cindy decided to go for a law degree and enrolled at Bates College. While attending she found a passion for psychology. She changed her major to Mental Heath and graduated in 1995 Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Cappa, and made the Dean’s list for three years. Cindy then worked at the Spurwink School. Cindy’s love for counseling and helping others continued to grow. She attended the University of New England and got her Master’s degree. Cindy then opened her own private practice servicing the Lewiston Auburn area. She took great pride in her work dedicated herself to her clients.

Cindy was married to Dennis Tuttle from 1992 to 2010. Together they had two beautiful daughters, Sierra Brooke Tuttle and Sage Monique Tuttle. Cindy loved being a mom and gave them everything that she could to make their lives better. Cindy then met and married Stephen “Chip” Lurvey, the love of her life and soul mate on Oct. 22, 2016.

Cindy is survived by her husband and both daughters; her sister Tina M. Lambert of Lewiston; her nephew Justin St. Cyr of Minot, his wife Alyssa, and their three children, Ryker, Brayden, and Serena; her niece Kimberly St. Cyr of Lewiston and her three children, Brandon, Michael, and Kolton. Cindy was predeceased by both of her parents.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Dillingham Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home, 305 Alfred A Plourde Pkwy, Lewiston, ME 04240, 784-4023.
