Jeannine Poulin Smith

LEWISTON – Jeannine Poulin Smith 74, of Lewiston died April 17, 2021 at Androscoggin Hospice House in Auburn.

She was born in Lisbon Falls June 27, 1946, the daughter of Clement and Lucille Poulin. She graduated from Marie Joseph Academy in Biddeford Pool where she made several life-long friends.

Her hobbies included, traveling, reading, fishing, doting on her pets and most of all spending time with her family. One of her favorite places to go was Bailey Island, she had a deep love of the ocean. Her working career involved sales, credit union clerk and part time security guard.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She shared a special bond with her sisters and she cherished memories from the many “Poulin Sister Reunions”. Jeannine was bright, kind, sweet and had a smile that would light up a room.

She was predeceased by grandson, Bradley Field; parents, Clement and Lucille Poulin; sister, Germaine Caron.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Smith; daughter, Joy Smith; grandchildren, Tiffany Field, Jessica Rowand, Thomas Gillespie; sisters and brothers-in-law, Rita and Dave Chase, Joan and Ski Miller. She also leaves four great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews; and friends.
