LEWISTON – Irene T. (Sturtevant) Dagneau, 82, of Lisbon, Maine, died Aug. 6, 2021, of natural causes at Central Maine Medical Center.She was born on Dec. 13, 1938, to Bernard and Annette (Plourde) Sturtevant in Lewiston. She attended Saint Dominic High School and the University of Maine, Augusta. She married Lucien R. Dagneau and had three children, Roland, Claire and Michael. She worked at Lewiston School Department Lunch program for many years and later worked at Hannaford’s in Topsham.She was an avid Sea Dogs and Red sox fan. She loved attending several Sea Dog games with her son Michael. She loved collecting the Sea Dog bobble heads. Gardening was a passion and very proud of garden. She would gleam with pride seeing and being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Irene is survived by son, Roland R Dagneau, his wife Janet their children Jeffrey his wife Jessica Dagneau, Stephanie and husband Jeremy Rooks. Her daughter Claire Dagneau Jewell, her sons Patrick his wife Karen Jewell, Carl and wife Ashly Jewell and a son Michael L Dagneau who passed shortly after her. She leaves behind six grandchildren Brendin, Abbi, Sophia, Shelby, Ellie, Adley, and many nieces and nephews.She is predeceased by her parents Bernard and Annette Sturtevant, siblings Jack, Bernard, Elizabeth and Marie. A celebration of life will be Sunday, Sept. 5, 2021, 1 p.m., at 123 Bragdon Hill Rd.
