Myron E. “Butch” Goodrich

MECHANIC FALLS – Myron E. “Butch” Goodrich, 78, of Mechanic Falls Maine lost his battle to cancer on Aug. 14, 2021. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts, to Myron E. Goodrich Sr. and Dorothy Barclay. Before moving to Maine, he worked on the docks and was a proud member of the Teamster’s. After moving to Maine, he worked at Pineland Center, Alternative Services, and the Mechanic Falls Transfer Station until his retirement. He enjoyed tinkering in his garage, going to the casino, and most of all he enjoyed his family. He is survived by his children: Pauline Ayers and her husband Brian Ayers of Mechanic Falls, William Cunneen and his partner Billie Jo Ridlon of Oxford, Michael Cunneen and his partner Brittany Groves of Sumner, Thomas Cunneen and his partner Laura Roy of Mechanic Falls, Kimberly Pelletier and her husband Stewart Pelletier of Hebron, Michele Comeau and her husband Ed Comeau of Mechanic Falls, James Goodrich and his partner Cassandra Bonney of Mechanic Falls, 13 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and his sister-in-law Katherine Heffernan. He was preceded in death of his wife Mary R. Goodrich, his sister Elaine Cormier, his brother Robert Goodrich, his parents, and grandchildren Dakota Cunneen, Adam Hill, and Joshua Leonard. He will be missed and loved by all who knew him.Keeping with Myron’s wishes there will be no calling hour, the family will hold a graveside service Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021, at 11 a.m. in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Mechanic Falls Arrangements are under the care of Chandler Funeral Home and Cremation 26 W.
