AUBURN – Michael R. Tremblay, 49, of Auburn died peacefully, Saturday Sept. 18, 2021, at his residence with his loving family and friends by his side.
He was born in Lewiston on Sept. 23, 1971, the son of Normand and Suzanne (Desrochers) Tremblay and had been a resident of this community all of his life.
He was educated in Auburn schools and was a graduate of Edward Little High School class of 1990.
He was employed as a custodian for Central Maine Medical Center for many years and then just recently employed at General Electric.
Michael was an avid sports fan having enjoyed baseball, especially the New York Yankees, drag racing, hockey and football. In his younger years he enjoyed snowmobiling with his father. He loved hanging out with his friends and dining out with his brother, Larry and his niece, Jenna whom she was very special to him. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his mother, Suzanne Tremblay and her companion Henry Wilson of New Port Richey, Fla.; his brother, Larry Tremblay and his wife Lee of Randolph; his niece, Jenna Tremblay of Randolph; his aunt and uncle Diane and Steven Nelson of Minot; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and lifelong friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Normand Tremblay who died on May 11, 1992.
Committal services honoring Michael’s life will be celebrated on Friday, Sept. 24 at 12:30 p.m. at the Mausoleum at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday from 9 a.m. till 12 p.m. at the Pinette Dillingham and Lynch Funeral Home, 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway in Lewiston 784-4023. Online condolences and sharing of memories may be expressed at http://www.lynchbrothers.com.
