FARMINGTON – June Daigle Weeks, 87, passed away Oct. 4, 2021, at Sandy River Center surrounded by her family. She was born August 10, 1934, in Mexico, the daughter of Cealand and Elaine (Virgin) Burgess.June was a proud graduate of Mexico High School Class of 1953. She worked at Diamond Match until closure and then worked at Rumford Hospital until retirement.June enjoyed music and was known for her love of dancing. She was a people person who loved spending time with family and friends. June was spunky, entertaining and liked to make people laugh. She was also extremely generous and giving. In June’s life, ‘there were no strangers; only friends she had not met.’ She led a full, happy life and will be missed by all who knew her.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Cealand and Donald; her son, Frank Marena, Jr.; and her husbands, Frank Marena, Sr., James Daigle and Clayton Weeks. Surviving are her daughters, Sue McPhee, Joanne Reid (Eric), son Andy Daigle (Melissa); siblings Virginia Stickney, Barbara Smith, Jean Volkernick and Frank Burgess; ten grandchildren, Tammy, Alicia, Danielle, Sara, Michael, Sasha, Cody, Siarra, Eric and Meghan; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, stepchildren and their families.The family wishes to thank the staff at Sandy River and Deb Burchfield for the compassionate, loving care provided to June.Online condolences and memories may be shared at http://www.sgthibaultfuneralhome.com Visitation Thibault Remembrance Center, Friday, Oct. 15 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. A prayer service will follow immediately after visitation.
