AUBURN – Robert G. Fortin 81, of Auburn passed away peacefully on Thursday October 7, 2021. He was born in Lewiston on July 1, 1940 a son of the late Willie and Cecile (Couture) Fortin. He attended St. Peter’s and St. Doms Schools.
He married the former Constance Bolduc on October 25, 1958, she predeceased him on February 13, 2006. Bob worked many jobs over the years, Canteen Services, Georgio’s Pizza, Roberts Card Center and as a custodian at Montello School where he retired.
Bob enjoyed bingo, watching sports and making car and airplane models. He also had a love for animals and his grand dogs Brynley and Phineas.
He is survived by his two daughters Diane Fortin and wife Cheryl McKeone of Turner, and Danielle Garneau and her husband Sean of Mechanic Falls, god children: Elaine Palmer, Michael Bolduc and Patty Stubenrod. He was predeceased by a Sister Jeannine Christianson and two brothers Jean-Guy Fortin and Conrad Fortin.

Visitation Fortin Auburn Friday Oct. 22, 7 p.m. Liturgy of the word will be celebrated on Saturday Oct. 23, at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Church. Committal will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
