BUCKFIELD — Addison Stevens poured in 19 points to lead Buckfield to its first win of the season, 40-17, over visiting Wiscasset in MVC girls basketball action Thursday evening.

Kianna Finnegan chipped in with 11 points in the win for the Bucks (1-7).

Qina Hyman scored six points for the Wolverines (1-5).

DIRIGO 57, TELSTAR 26: Jayce Brophy led the Cougars (5-3) with 20 points in a win over the Rebels (0-8) in Dixfield.

Grace Robbins added 11 points for Dirigo.

Morgan Zetts scored 15 points for Telstar.

MADISON 45, OAK HILL 24: Raegan Cowan scored 12 points to lead the Bulldogs to the Mountain Valley Conference win in Madison.

Arabel Linkletter added nine points for Madison (6-3) while Alison Griffeth and Hailey Paquet scored eight apiece.

Oak Hill (2-5) was led by Paige Gonya with 10 points.

BRUNSWICK 70, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 31: Morgan Foster got 14 of her 21 points in the first quarter as the Dragons (7-0) ran out to a 32-5 advantage and easily handled the Patriots (7-3) at Brunswick.

Logan Brown knocked down five 3-pointers and finished with 17 points.

Isabella Morelli scored 11 points for Gray-New Gloucester.

GIRLS HOCKEY
MT. ARARAT/LISBON/MORSE/LINCOLN ACADEMY 9, PORTLAND/DEERING 1: Sarah Moore recorded a hat trick in the first period, and Marley Lebel and Hannah Hawkes each scored twice for Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse/Lincoln (11-3) in a win over the Bulldogs (1-11) at Troubh Ice Arena.

Salin Bachor and Mallory Stuart were the other goal scorers for the Eagles.

Jane Flynn scored for the Bulldogs early in the second period.

BOYS HOCKEY
CAPE ELIZABETH 5, LEWISTON 2: Nick Laughlin scored twice as the Capers (5-2-1) defeated the Blue Devils (4-4) at Troubh Ice Arena.

Patrick Lee, Quinn Gordon and Philip Coupe each added a goal for Cape Elizabeth.

UMF UPDATES SPECTATOR POLICY: In a media release sent out Thursday, the University of Maine-Farmington announced fans will no longer be allowed to attend home basketball games at Dearborn Gym.

The policy will be reviewed periodically and updated, based on COVID-19 conditions in the campus and Farmington communities, as well as updated guidance from the NCAA and the CDC.
