Patricia P. Anctil

LEWISTON – Patricia P. Anctil, 78, of 690 Sabattus St., Lewiston, passed away at her home on Monday, Aug. 15, 2022, with her family by her side.

Born in Lewiston on Dec. 1, 1943, she was the daughter of Auguste and Olivette Pellerin Mercier. Patsy was educated in local schools and was a graduate of Lewiston High School, class of ‘61. On Aug. 14, 1965, she married the love of her life, Gerald Anctil.

She worked for the City of Lewiston for a few years, for Beals Department Store in Florida when she and Gerry lived there from 1999 to 2020, and spent 40 years working at Liberty Mutual, retiring as a supervisor.

Patsy enjoyed painting, roller skating with friends, knitting, playing games, and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling, dancing, bocci ball, and camping, especially spending Maine summers at Riverbend Campground in Leeds.

Besides her loving husband, she is survived by two sons, Kerry Anctil and fiance, Jessica Pierce, and Jeffrey Anctil and wife, Annette; a sister, Elsie Banks; a granddaughter, Phalen and husband, Steven Harris, and two great-grandchildren, Rozlyn and Emerson Harris.

She was predeceased by her parents; five brothers, Paul, Del, Richie, and Drey Mercier, and a sister, Connie Beaulieu.

Visitation will be held at the Albert & Burpee Funeral Home on Friday, Aug. 26, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a service at 1 p.m., followed by committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Memories may be shared at http://www.albert-burpee.com.
