Mark Alan Kenney

LIVERMORE FALLS – Mark Kenney, 69, a resident of Livermore Falls, passed away Thursday, Aug. 25, 2022, at his home.

Born March 2, 1953 in Lewiston, the son of Raymond Kenney and Nancy (Boynton) Kenney. Mark graduated from Leavitt Area High School in 1971 and went on to aviation school, earning his pilot’s license. He was an accomplished carpenter and home builder.

In his leisure time he enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling, pitching for his softball team, and spending time with family- especially his grandparents whom he loved very much.

Mark was known for his kind nature, sharp wit, and encyclopedic knowledge. Mark was a lover of cinema, mostly science fiction and old Westerns.

He is survived by his parents Raymond and Nancy Kenney; daughters Laurie Kenney, Stacey Chan and husband Philip, his son, Christopher Kenney; two grandchildren, Peter and Ian; his sister, Stephanie Dodge and brothers Jeffrey Kenney and wife, Diane, Eric Kenney and wife, Nancy.

He was predeceased by his grandparents.

A graveside service will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 1 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Gott Road, in Wayne. Arrangements by FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church St., Livermore Falls.
