On page A2 of the Sept. 2 Sun Journal is an Associated Press article titled “Tech tool ‘Fog Reveal’ gives police ‘mass surveillance on a budget’.”

This important article explains one of many techniques of mass surveillance — without any legal warrants issued — now taking place across America.

This warrantless mass surveillance is a direct attack on our constitutional right to privacy; it is an indirect attack on our American right to self-governance (the very foundation of our Constitution); and it threatens to turn our republic into a corporate police state, a corporate surveillance state, a corporate fascist dictatorship.

The right to privacy is the right to think. It is the right to criticize the government.

We are in danger of becoming the very thing our nation’s founders and forefathers fought against.

Congratulations to the Sun Journal for finding the courage to share this story.
