AUBURN – G. Louise Pache Barre, 86, died Wednesday Sept. 14, 2022, at her residence in Auburn, Maine.
Born in Rumford, Nov. 9, 1935, she was the daughter of Victor and Yvonne (Gauthier) Pache. Louise was a graduate of Mexico High School. She was a telephone operator, homemaker, nursing home CNA-M and home health aide. After retirement, she was a first-grade school volunteer for several years. She loved her cats and she enjoyed sewing, knitting, reading, and traveling.
Survivors include her daughters, Theresa Welch and husband Tim of Lewiston and Carol Barre of Auburn, her sons, Donald of Bloomington, Minn., Michael and wife Joan of Mexico, Paul and companion Barbara of Naples, Fla., and Daniel and companion Kathy of Auburn, grandchildren Marcus Welch, David Welch, Jordan Barre and Tori Barre, and a foreign exchange student Kathy Molino of Columbia.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m., Friday, Sept. 23, 2022, at the Parish of the Holy Savior St Athanasius St John Church 126 Maine Ave, Rumford. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery in Rumford. Friends and family are invited to call at the Meader & Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin St., Rumford, Maine, on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022 from 6-8 p.m.
