Before I moved to Maine and experienced the “citizen Legislature” firsthand, I had never thought to seek a relationship with my state legislators. So I still can’t believe my luck that Margaret Craven represents my family in Augusta.

I have had the opportunity to be part of multiple conversations between Rep. Craven and her constituents. She listens, empathizes, and is honest about what it takes to make needed changes.

And then she acts. A quick glance at her sponsored bills shows how carefully she has listened to Lewiston residents about their needs.

Rep. Craven understands that we’re all in this together. Home care is needed, and provided, by many of our neighbors and family members here in Lewiston. Rep. Craven has consistently fought for higher wages and better health care access for direct care workers.

She’s a tireless champion for our community, and deserves re-election.
