Voters in District 20 (Auburn, Durham, New Gloucester and Poland) have an opportunity to return Bettyann Sheats to the State House.

Her experience and service make her an excellent candidate for Senate. Her education at West Point, followed by eight years of active duty as a helicopter pilot, speaks to her values, competence and leadership.

She has served on the board of the Finance Authority of Maine and as a member of the Public Transit Advisory Council. She has advocated for small businesses, for trade schools, for affordable health insurance, and for veteran benefits.

People who meet her recognize her affection for the state of Maine, her deep respect for voters, and her commitment to listening to the concerns of those she represents.
