John “Jack” Pelletier

JAY – John “Jack” Pelletier, 81, a resident of Jay and Ocala, Fla., passed away peacefully, Monday evening, June 5, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born March 24, 1942 in Farmington, the son of John and Lorraine (Conlogue) Pelletier. He was a 1962 graduate of Livermore Falls High School. On Feb. 10, 1968, at St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay he married Diane Allanach of Livermore.

He worked as a master electrician at the International Paper Company at both the Androscoggin and Otis Mills in Jay. He also worked at Kimberly-Clark in Waterville and Scott Paper in Hinckley.

Jack was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima, and member of the International Paper Quarter Century Club. He loved flying his airplane, antique cars, woodworking and retirement in Ocala, Fla.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Pelletier of Jay and Ocala, Fla.; daughters Darcy Pelletier of Jay, Tammy Berry and husband Andrew of Livermore, Jaime Spadea and husband Shawn of Sidney; grandson, Caleb Berry, granddaughters Kayla McInnis, Hannah Skehan, Camryn Berry and Rylee Spadea; his brother, Dick Pelletier and wife Becky of Fayette and sister, Sharon Moulton and husband Larry of Ocala, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1 p.m., Friday, June 9 at St. Rose of Lima Church, 1 Church St., Jay. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, June 8, at Finley Funeral Home, 15 Church St., Livermore Falls. Interment at a later date at Holy Cross Cemetery, 445 Park St., Livermore Falls.
