LEWISTON — Tri-County Mental Health Services welcomed two new members to its Board of Directors this June.
Amanda Karomba serves as chief executive officer of Happy Haven, an organization that provides direct support to Maine adults with intellectual disabilities. Before assuming her position as CEO, Karomba attended the University of Southern Maine, and is continuing her education in disability studies. She is a certified Kinyarwanda/Kirundi interpreter and also is fluent in Swahili and Lingala, according to a news release from Leslie Ogilvie, grants and communication manager with the organization.
Karomba draws daily inspiration from her husband and two sons, enjoys traveling to new destinations and has a passion for cooking and hosting gatherings.
Zach Ciolino is a merchant solutions officer at Bangor Savings Bank where he works with local businesses. He is active in his community, currently sitting on the Uplift LA Steering Committee, which is part of the LA Metro Chamber of Commerce.
Outside of work, he enjoys traveling with his husband, being outdoors doing yard work, spending time with his two dogs and creating memories with his family throughout the state.
“We’re delighted to welcome Amanda and Zach to our Board of Directors,” said TCMHS Chief Executive Officer Catherine R. Ryder. “We’re honored that they chose TCMHS to continue serving our communities. Each of them brings energy, expertise and compassion to our Board and we look forward to working with them over the coming years.”
