Gary William Buzzell

GREENE – Gary William Buzzell, 75, of Greene, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at home after battling aggressive lung cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Lewiston on July 22, 1947, the eldest of seven, to Harold and Phyllis (Burnham) Buzzell. He attended school in Leeds and Monmouth academy. For most of his career he was engaged in running his own business, Gary Buzzell Construction and Heavy Equipment Repair. He took great pride in keeping tractors and equipment, new and old, running for local farmers.

Gary is survived by his loving wife Joy (Cole); three daughters, Natalie and Kenneth Bragdon of Greene, Arianna and Nathaniel Phillips of Hockessin, Del., Kristen and Brian Sciolino of Lincoln; three brothers, Bradley, Raymond, and Merton, three sisters, Mary, Diane, and Donna; six grandchildren, Grace, Lily, Max, and Lucy Phillips, Alexander and Dominic Sciolino; and numerous nieces and nephews.
