Saturday’s paper is, by far, my favorite. It’s not that I don’t like the other days, but I find Bob Neal’s column, “The Countryman,” very timely and educational, and I read every word of it.

The subjects he finds to write about are newsworthy and thoughtfully presented in a form that is missing in far too many biased columns today. I have never questioned his writings for content or veracity. Like Sgt. Friday of Dragnet used to say, just the facts.

Bob Neal presents each and every column clearly and fairly. One would be hard pressed to argue with him on the content.

I sure hope the Sun Journal appreciates the work he puts into each column. I don’t find much news today that doesn’t have a bias or is well written, but his has both.

I missed his columns greatly when he left to edit one of your weekly papers. I’m thankful he’s back.
