Carl Sheline is running for a second term as the mayor of Lewiston, and I think he really deserves to be elected.

I have seen him at many local events, in the State House, at chamber breakfasts, up and down Lisbon Street, maybe everywhere except the summit of Thorncrag.

He is deeply involved in the concerns of all residents, new and old, one example being the recent gatherings on community safety and the creation of an advisory committee to address the issue.

Whether the issues are social or commercial, he seeks solutions rather than ignoring them.

Lewiston would do well to reelect Carl Sheline.
