I support Susan Longchamps for Ward 2 Lewiston city councilor.

Susan is a successful business and property owner in Lewiston. She understands how to hold someone accountable while supporting them. For example, people can check out the annual block party on Pine St. that Susan started and continues to organize.

They will see Susan picking up and directing/encouraging locals (not employees) to restore the neighborhood. The party ended around 7:20 p.m. Everything but the staging was picked up, stacked and cleared by 8 p.m. That is genuine leadership.

Susan understands Lewiston and its needs, and how to work with people while holding herself and others accountable. She actually owns and operates a small business. She responds and supports community members.

Susan is gritty and the mama of a local police officer; she doesn’t mess around. She is more than talk; Susan walks.

I hope people vote Susan Longchamps for Lewiston City Council Ward 2.
