Robert Steve Widell

LEWISTON – Robert Steve Widell, 71, of Auburn, passed away on Thursday Aug. 31, 2023 at CMMC in Lewiston.

He was born in Van Buren on April 24, 1952, the son of Joseph Widell and the late Geraldine “Geri” Widell. Bob received a bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University and a master’s degree from New Hampshire College. Bob owned his own accounting firm, was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, and had a passion for fishing and golfing.

He is survived by his father, Joseph; his sons Aaron Widell and his wife Amy of Sudbury, Mass. and Marcus Widell and his wife Erin of Arlington, Mass. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Brooks and Sloane Widell of Arlington, Mass.

A Celebration of Life gathering will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday Sept. 5, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
