EAST BALDWIN – With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Morris Dale Murphy on Saturday, Aug. 26, 2023.
Morris was born on July 9, 1958, in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, Canada, and raised in Aroostook County by his devoted parents, Connie and Earlon, alongside his siblings Doug, Janet, Sharon, Dana, and Todd. Morris’s journey was one marked by unwavering love, and had a profound impact on all fortunate enough to be loved by him.
In addition to his personal achievements, Morris took great pride in raising two exceptionally talented children, Jennifer and Brent. Jennifer, in turn, gave him three gifted grandchildren, Jasmine, Anthony, and Ethan, who he loved dearly. Morris’s closest friends were also his extended family, bound by unbreakable bonds. Kara Rowe, his beloved life partner, held a unique place in Morris’s heart. Kara cared deeply for Morris and provided unwavering support and shared in the joys and challenges of their life together.
Known for his generosity, witty banter, exceptional mind, love of all creatures, and the warmest of smiles, coupled with that mischievous twinkle in his eyes, Morris led a life unmatched in resilience.
As we bid farewell to Morris, we remember him not only for the remarkable person he was but also for the enduring love and warmth he shared with us all.
While Morris reunites with his father and many treasured fur babies, he would love for us to celebrate his life in the way he would have if he were here to celebrate it with us, with hopeful spirits, full of love and levity, enjoying each other’s company and jamming the night away.
