PARIS — The Paris Public Library is hosting the Mad Science of Maine’s program “Halloween Spook-tacular” on Saturday, October 28, at 10:30 a.m., at the Deering Memorial Community Center.

With high-energy and entertaining presentations, Mad Science makes learning science fun. At the Spook-tacular, participants will enjoy science tricks & treats, such as the foaming Jack o’Lantern, the wail of the banshee, cauldrons of frothing witches’ brew, and releasing ghosts from bottles, for the most scientifically spooky Halloween ever!

The Deering Memorial Community Center is located at 39 Main Street in Paris, next to the Paris Public Library. The program is free and open to all in the community.
