Trevor Saunders

AUBURN – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Trevor Saunders on Saturday, Nov. 18, 2023.

Trevor was the type that would help anyone in need without an expectation of anything in return, and brightened people’s lives with a smile and kindness in his day-to-day interactions.

Trevor attended Fairview school in Auburn until fifth grade, where he moved to Mechanic Falls and attended Elm St School and Poland Middle School and High School. He was an avid basketball player and also enjoyed soccer, golf, hiking, and just being outdoors. He was quick to make people laugh, made friends easily, and loved animals, especially his cats and his mom’s dog Lydia.

Trevor was the best daddy to his son Alex, striving to be better for him every day.

He was proud of his brother and sister Cody and Reagan Saunders and loved them dearly.

HIs biggest cheerleader was his mother Pam Ashby, whom he could always count on in any circumstance.

Trevor was a loving and devoted partner to Makayla Perkett, who had each other’s backs through thick and thin. His friends meant so much to him and were his chosen family; Brayden Deraps, Alex Cook, Cobey Bullock, and Noah Morsehead. Trevor is survived by all the aforementioned as well as his mother’s partner Kevin Morissette of Lewiston; father Daryan Saunders; stepmom Kate Davis, uncles, Craig Ashby of Colorado, and Jarrod Saunders of Lewiston, cousins Connor Ashby and Aiden and Alivia Saunders, grandmothers, Pauline and her husband Dave Langill, and Pam and Charles Smith, great aunt Paulette and great uncle Don Pelletier. Trevor is predeceased by his grampy James Ashby and bampy Bryan Saunders.

The family wishes to thank all those who helped us and Trevor in the past days – your support has meant the world to us all.

Online condolences and fond memories may be shared on Trevor’s memorial page at http://www.albert-burpee.com

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn Auburn Riverwatch on Saturday, November 25, 2023 from 12-4 p.m.

Arrangements are under the care of Albert & Burpee Funeral Home & Cremation Services 253 Pine St. Lewiston, 782-7201.

The family will decide on two nonprofits for those that would like to donate in remembrance

of Trevor at a later date. One will be basketball focused and the other GAHS.
