Simone Louise Fernande Dabout Desjardins

AUBURN – On this day, Dec. 8, 2023, surrounded by loved ones, Simone Louise Fernande Dabout Desjardins left us.

Simone was brought into this world on a beautiful day on March 13, 1931, in a small village in the Loire Valley in France. She later met and was married for 71 years to the love of her life, Robert E. Desjardins, who survives her. She is also survived by her daughters and their husbands, Catherine and Paul Fairbrother from Maine and Paulette and John Smith of Virginia. She had five wonderful grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and threegreat-great-grandchildren. She will be forever in our hearts. A service and celebration of life will be held in the spring of 2024. She will be at Gracelawn cemetery in Auburn, awaiting her beloved Bob.
