The Tri-Town Optimist Club of Mechanic Falls, Minot and Poland recently held a visual arts contest on the theme of HOPE.

Entries were submitted for two age groups and judged by club members at the April 25 meeting, with the following winners being selected:
Up to age 7: Perrie Cotnoir of Poland, child of Crystal Cotnoir. Perrie is homeschooled.
Ages 8-11: Emily Audet of Poland, child of Valarie Audet, attends Poland Community School.
These entries will be submitted to Optimist International for further judging. Winners at that level will have their image featured in a pack of 12 notecards and envelopes. Cash prizes are also available.
