POLAND — The Select Board on Tuesday approved updates to the 2019 personnel policy. Along with language changes, the board added vacation time and established a payroll direct deposit policy.

It also approved the revised financial policy, which was last reviewed in 2014.

Town Manager Matthew Garside announced the four-way stop at Poland Corner and Harris Hill roads has been installed.

The Select Board will meet May 22 because its regular meeting day conflicts with the Regional School Unit 16 budget meeting, May 21.
