University of Southern Maine senior Madi Day and Bates College sophomore Emma Yen both earned Division III first-team All-Region recognition from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association on Friday.
Day, an Oxford Hills graduate, was selected to the first team in Region II. Her USM teammate, Abby Miner, received second-team honors.
Yen was named to the first team in Region I.
WOMEN’S LACROSSE
RACINE NAMED ALL-REGION: Southern Maine senior Cece Racine received an all-region accolade from the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association.
The Lewiston grad was selected to the Pilgrim Region second team.
Racine ranked sixth nationally in Division III with a .518 save percentage this season and was 14th with 11.29 saves per game.
MEN’S GOLF
BATES’ EHRLICH TABBED ALL-NESCAC: Bates College sophomore Henry Ehrlich was selected to the all-conference second team by the New England Small College Athletic Conference.
Ehrlich tied for the individual title at the NESCAC Championship tournament. It was one of four tournaments out of the eight the Bobcats competed in that Ehrlich was team’s low scorer.

BOBCATS DUO ACHIEVES ALL-CONFERENCE: The All-NESCAC rowing teams announced Friday include two Bates College crew members.
Men’s senior captain Charlie Berman was named to the second team for the second year in a row. On the women’s side, senior Livia Bernhardt was also selected to the second team. It’s the first all-conference honor of her career.
