Ronald R. “OneWay” Caron

SABATTUS – Ronald R. “OneWay” Caron, 70, of Sabattus, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 12, 2024 at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Healthcare and Hospice in Auburn, with his daughter, Arielle, niece, Tiffany, and close family friend, Mary Lutz by his side.

Born in Lewiston, on Aug. 31, 1953, he was the son of Jeannette and Reginald Gilbert Caron. Educated in Auburn schools, he was a graduate of Edward Little High School, class of ‘72.

Ron worked various jobs over the years, but mostly worked alongside his brother, Don, in their taxidermy business. For 36 years he was a proud member of the Saracens Motorcycle Club. “OneWay” was a friend to all, and a fierce protector of those he cared for.

Survivors include his daughter, Arielle Lagasse of Monmouth; two brothers, Richard of Sabattus and Paul and wife Cindy Paradis of Minot; three nephews, Brian and Joe Caron of New York, and Travis Paradis of Poland, three nieces, Tiffany and husband Marco Talarico, and Natalie Caron, all of Sabattus, and Katrina Johndro of Danville; and his godson, Braden Pelletier of Monmouth.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his twin brother, Donald Caron, who passed away in 2020.
