NORWAY — As summer approaches, Western Foothills Land Trust is thrilled to invite the community to their annual Longest Day Paddle at Lake Pennesseewassee on Friday, June 21 at 5 p.m. This annual tradition is the perfect way to kick off the summer season and celebrate the solstice with friends and family.

Participants will meet at the public boat launch on Crockett Ridge Road. Attendees will need to bring their own boat, personal flotation device (PFD), and plenty of water. This year the Dragon Boat will be joining the event on the lake, promising a spectacular solstice celebration that should not be missed! To learn more about the Dragon Boat Club and how you can join them, email mainedragonboatclub@gmail.com.
