My main concern is the ever-ballooning state government and budget.

We are at a record high of over $10 billion, and soon will top $11 billion. Where will it end?

The current government in Maine doesn’t seem to understand that its role is to do the job of governing and not to take over the roles of families and private enterprise. I believe my money is better spent by me, not the state.

Rep. Laurel Libby introduced a bill to repeal state income tax and voted against the 1% payroll tax increase (the largest tax increase in Maine in decades). She is on our side.

Since the role of government is to defend and protect our rights rather than infringe on them, I am voting for her in November.
