MINOT — Town Administrator Danielle Loring informed the Select Board on Monday that the Federal Emergency Management Agency will send $60,000 to help pay for roads damaged in the December 2023 storm.

In another money matter, the Select Board approved the town’s 2023 audit report. The independent auditor reported there were no items of concern.

Fire-Rescue Chief Jeff Burt said the department will apply for grants from $28,000 to $40,000 for battery-powered extrication tools. He said he has been in touch with area communities concerning mutual aid procedures and deployment.

Town employees can take a personal day Friday, July 5, because town offices will be closed following the July 4 holiday.
