Philias “Bill” Raymond LeClair
BONHAM, Texas – Philias “Bill” Raymond LeClair passed peacefully at 3:50 a.m. on Dec. 31, 2023 in Bonham, Texas.
He was born on June 27, 1941, to Perley Paul LeClair and Reta Irene (Saunders) LeClair in Augusta. He honorably served our country in the United States Army. Bill married the love of his life, Colette Bonneau on July 4, 1963, in Lewiston. Together, they shared 60 years of marriage and had two daughters, Lorie and Linda. Bill was a gifted entrepreneur and retired in 2005 in Texas.
Bill will be remembered by his wife, Colette LeClair; daughters Lorie LeClair and fiancé, Nick Bukovecky, and Linda Stapleton and husband, Jeff; grandchildren, Jessica Simon, Alyssa Simon, AJ Stapleton, and Niccole Roy and husband, Doyle; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Shirley Thorton and husband, Milan, Joan Boucher and husband, Roger, and Arthur LeClair and wife, Elaine; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his parents, Perley and Reta LeClair; siblings, Irene Hill and Perley LeClair Jr.
A memorial service will be held at the St. Peter’s Cemetery, Lewiston, in the Mausoleum Chapel on July 2 at 11 a.m.
