Harriet SUBMITTED PHOTO

Harriet is a medium energy female Lab mix of three years old. Nicknames: Corn Chip, Harriet the Spy. Around people, she is super sweet and is fine with tolerant dogs, but cats are not recommended.
Miss Harriet has been with us here at the shelter longer than any other animal after being abandoned on our front step in 2022.

She is an extremely sweet lady who came to us with a severe case of mange a lot of other skin conditions. With allergy testing, treatment, and lots of love, her skin has improved immensely. She is severely allergic (literally off the charts) to many things, but most notably dust, all kinds of mites, ragweed, birch, hazelnut tree, and marsh elder.

These allergies are extremely severe, and require lots of care, money, and veterinary maintenance. Because of this, Harriet would need to go to a vet-approved home. She does well with children and other dogs as long as they are tolerant, because she can be a bit in-your-face with other dogs.

However, Miss Harriet does not like cats, and it is not recommended for her to go to a home with any. With people, she is extremely sweet and gentle and is guaranteed to make you smile. She likes: Snacks, showing off her tricks, thievery. She dislikes: Being itchy, being told no, being underappreciated

Oliver SUBMITTED PHOTO

Oliver is a male gray tabby of one to three years old with medium energy. He is okay with other cats, but likes to hide. Likewise with his interactions with people, he’s pretty scared and likes to hide. It is not known how he will react with dogs.

Meet Oliver. This sweet little grey tabby is very mild-mannered, but he likes to find places to hide. He lives in a kennel in our Cat Room in order to help socialize him. He tends to get pretty frightened by chaos, sudden movements or loud noises.

He would likely need some time to get settled in a home, but once he is comfortable in a home, he is much more likely to come around as an affectionate cat. Come and meet this sweetheart with big, green eyes.
