AUBURN — The dedication of Officer Norman Philbrick Square, a new memorial to the Auburn Police officer of that name, is set for 10 a.m. Sunday, July 7, at the intersection of Court and Main streets.
The city of Auburn and its police department plan to honor Philbrick on the 75th anniversary of his line-of-duty death. He was killed when directing traffic during a two-alarm house fire on Turner Street.
